Job Description

Overview GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Systems Support Engineer to work onsite in Chambersburg, PA. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting SMB business clients across various environments and traveling to client sites as required. Position Overview This role requires a versatile professional who can engage with clients in a friendly manner, understand their needs, and deliver customized network solutions. Responsibilities include managing diverse network environments, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring team members. Responsibilities Provide technical oversight and guidance to businesses involving their operation of network components. desktops, laptops, wireless devices, firewalls/routers, printers, monitors, projectors, etc. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware. Strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and system administration. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. Plan and assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployments. Translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly recommendations. Build strong client relationships through professional communication and trust. Background supporting Microsoft Server and networking technologies. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of overall IT support experience. 2+ years of recent desktop support experience, including installing, upgrading, and managing Microsoft desktop environments. Experience working directly with end users in a client-facing capacity. Experience imaging, updating, and patching laptops and desktops. Familiarity with phone systems and mobile device support. Strong communication and customer service skills. Bachelor's degree in an IT related field Experience with large networks Experience with Networking and some Server Background Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
