Role:
Kleen-Rite Corp., THE reliable supplier to the car wash industry, is seeking a highly knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. This role serves as a key internal and customer-facing expert in car wash equipment, systems, parts, and operations. You will help customers and internal team members diagnose issues, identify solutions, source the correct parts, and maximize equipment uptime. Working closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Purchasing, you will provide technical guidance, product recommendations, troubleshooting support, and training. This is a primarily office-based role where you will leverage your hands-on experience to support customers and internal teams remotely. While the work is performed from the office, the impact is highly practical—helping solve real-world equipment issues, guide repairs, and keep customer operations running efficiently. This position plays a critical role in strengthening customer relationships, improving internal knowledge, and supporting revenue growth through accurate and responsive technical support. Difference:
Technical Support & Customer Solutions Support and guide customers and internal team members with technical questions related to car wash equipment, parts, systems, and operations Troubleshoot equipment issues remotely by phone, email, and other communication methods Analyze customer needs and recommend practical solutions, replacement parts, upgrades, or corrective actions Read and interpret schematics, parts breakdowns, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documents Provide guidance on electrical, mechanical, controls, and operational issues within scope of experience Help customers minimize downtime by delivering timely and accurate support Sales & Order Support Partner closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to support customer opportunities and existing accounts Assist in identifying correct parts, verifying compatibility, and preventing ordering errors Provide technical product recommendations that align with customer needs and system requirements Support quoting and order accuracy by verifying parts, configurations, and technical details as needed Support revenue growth through solution-based recommendations and strong customer service Internal Collaboration & Training Serve as an internal technical resource for Sales, Customer Service, and other departments Conduct product knowledge and technical training sessions for internal teams as needed Contribute to improving internal processes, documentation, and technical reference materials Stay current on products, vendors, equipment trends, and industry developments Requirements What You Need to
Succeed:
5+ years of hands-on car wash industry experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with strong industrial, mechanical, electrical, service, or equipment troubleshooting backgrounds are encouraged to apply Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience with motors, pumps, sensors, relays, switches, plumbing, or controls systems Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and parts breakdowns Strong problem-solving skills with practical decision-making ability Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and coworkers Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Basic computer proficiency including email, spreadsheets, web applications, and business systems Reliable attendance, professionalism, and commitment to customer service
