High School Diploma (minimum) Two years prior school experience preferred. Must be able to read, write and understand work-related directions and instructions with sufficient skills to perform effectively. Must be physically able to work from ladders to perform job tasks fully. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Must be able to work unsupervised, be a self-starter, well-organized, and be able to multitask. Must have a satisfactory knowledge of technology tools, equipment, and materials. Must have a working knowledge of all MaST equipment operations. Ability to evaluate problems, prioritize work and determine solutions. Knowledge of Google Workspace apps: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc. Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment Must be able and willing to travel to support other school locations. Must possess and maintain valid Pennsylvania school clearances.Expectations:

The IT Support Specialist will join a team that supports the technology that teachers and students use every day. Job responsibilities include onboarding, providing support to our users, and supporting the MaST Schools' IT infrastructure. The specialist will assist in the implementation and support of IT systems, devices, and networks for the growing schools. Additionally, the IT Support Specialist will work to ensure that the technology is effectively deployed to help support a high-achieving academic environment. The primary responsibilities will focus on supporting the classroom environment, teachers, and students and ongoing improvements to the IT systems and infrastructure.Responsibilities:
Act as the first level support for staff and provide excellent customer service support in a timely manner. Install and configure local area data communications networks, which may carry data, voice, and video communications following organization standards. Install and maintain network services, hardware, and other network devices following technical plans. Resolve network communications problems. Install, diagnose, and repair all technology devices, systems, and equipment. Respond to user questions and explain the operation of network applications and equipment. Assist in the maintenance of standards and documentation. Work with the technology team to manage new installations of cabling and hardware. Install and manage software applications. Provide technology support for after-hours events. Provides training and/or knowledge sharing as required.Professional Obligations:
Enforce administration policies and rules governing students. Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in developing, evaluating, and revising school programs. Prepare reports on students and activities as required by the administration. Attend staff meetings, and have the opportunity to serve on committees. Adhere to Professional Standard of Conduct, including confidentiality, code of ethics, and appropriate internet use, as outlined in the Policy and Procedures manual and Staff Handbook. Follow all approved board of trustee policies, including Financial and Purchasing and Attendance. Perform all additional related duties and responsibilities as designated by the Local Administration, CEO, or Network Team.Terms of Employment:
Twelve (12) months. Contract terms and salary to be determined by the Board of Trustees.Evaluation:
The performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of state law, administrative code, and the Board's policy on the evaluation for this position.
