Job Description

Description:
NET Credit Union is looking for an IT Support Specialist. This vital role will be centered on resolving technical issues for users and maintaining organizational infrastructure. The ability to balance immediate help-desk tickets with long-term maintenance and projects is a must.
Experience:
Two to four years of similar or related experience, credit union experience preferred but not required
Education:
A four-year college degree or equivalent experience This is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package
Requirements:
Assists staff with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing and applications Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, cloud-based applications, application servers and administrative systems Trains and orients staff on use of hardware and software Install, configure and test new workstations, servers and other peripheral devices Responsible for repair and/or working condition of credit union equipment Keep abreast of state-of-the-art hardware and software developments. Recommend new technologies that enhance the efficiency and security of the network infrastructure Primary subject matter expert on multiple client server applications used within the credit union Creation and maintenance of information technology procedure documentation Other duties as assigned
