Job Description

IT Support Technician / Help DeskJob Summary We are a dynamic technology consulting company and Managed Service Provider (MSP) in West Chester seeking a skilled and motivated Help Desk / IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our clients and our internal team, troubleshooting and resolving issues, maintaining systems, and ensuring seamless IT operations. If you enjoy variety and direct client interaction, this position offers stable hours, professional development, and a collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities Provide remote and on-site technical support for desktops, servers, and network systems. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals. Assist with server maintenance tasks and proactive system monitoring. Set up and maintain printers and other office equipment. Assist with general break/fix tasks to ensure minimal downtime. Support the setup, testing, and troubleshooting of software and mobile applications. Document and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
Qualifications and Skills Experience:
1-3 years of hands-on IT experience preferred; however, we are open to training the right candidate with strong foundational knowledge.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Basic understanding of networking concepts and server environments is a plus.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
Self-Motivation:
Proactive approach to learning, troubleshooting, and taking ownership of tasks. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and access to reliable personal transportation for occasional on-site service calls. Willingness to travel locally as needed using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided). Preferred Qualifications Experience with managed services tools and platforms. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., RMM, patch management) is a plus. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a bonus.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$49,500 annually
Health Benefit:
$300/month QSEHRA health reimbursement (up to $3,600 annually, tax-free)
Paid Time Off:
PTO accrual plus company-observed holidays
Work Schedule:
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Rare after-hours support may be required for emergencies or scheduled maintenance.
