About CPR Cell Phone Repair CPR Cell Phone Repair is hiring a new team member for our West Chester store. This is a hands on role for someone with real computer repair experience who is also good with customers. You will repair phones and tablets too, but computer work is your specialty. We are a locally owned franchise with three stores across Chester County, Montgomery County, and northern Delaware. West Chester has been open since 2014. The atmosphere is friendly, the crew feels like family, and the average team member has been with us five years or more. The Role When a laptop or desktop comes in, it comes to you. Cracked screens, dead batteries, worn out keyboards, loose charge ports, slow machines, viruses, moving files to a new computer, and the ones that will not turn on at all. You give the customer a straight answer at the counter on what it will take, and you pick up phone and tablet repairs when there is no computer work waiting. Every team member here wears three hats: service, sales, and repair. Yours is mostly repair, and computers come first. What You Will Do Repair Mac and PC laptops and desktops: screens, batteries, keyboards, hinges, charge ports, and fans Software work: operating system reinstalls, virus and malware removal, tune ups on slow machines, and moving a customer's files to a new computer Data recovery from failing drives, plus SSD and memory upgrades Give customers a clear answer at the counter on what is fixable, what it costs, and how long it takes Keep clear notes on every ticket and call the customer when their machine is ready Take phone and tablet repairs when the computer bench is quiet, and help at the counter when the store is busy What We Are Looking For Real experience fixing computers, at a shop or on your own, with jobs you can talk us through Comfortable with both Mac and Windows Patience for the slow jobs: a long data recovery, a deep clean up, a machine that only fails sometimes Strong customer service and the ability to explain a technical problem in plain English Coachable and reliable. You take feedback well and you show up, including weekends. Honest, professional, and accountable Bonus Skills (Not Required) MacBook logic board or laptop charge port microsoldering CompTIA A+ or a similar certification Game console repair Experience with RepairQ or a similar point of sale system Compensation and Benefits Base pay is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience. Proven computer repair and microsoldering skill earn the top of the range.

On top of base pay:

Commission on accessory sales, device sales, and add on services, typically $200 to $600 a month based on performance Tips, pooled and split by hours worked Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Team member discount on repairs and accessories All tools and equipment provided Paid training and ongoing skill development We pay for your certifications, including WISE certification Room to grow: we promote from within, and we are opening more locations Schedule Full time, about 40 hours a week during store hours. Availability on both Saturday and Sunday is required for this position. Location Primary location is our West Chester store at 2 North 5 Points Road, with occasional coverage shifts at our Pottstown store (about 45 minutes away) if needed.
