The Processor Level 1 will inspect, refurbish and gently clean computers to ensure only functioning, high-quality products reach our customers. The Processor Level 1 reports to the Processing Manager.

Duties:

• Retrieves products from specified areas to be refurbished.
• Tests each computer and logs information for each item.
• Gently cleans repairable products, makes needed adjustments and repairs using simple hand tools.
• Sorts repaired products on pallets for delivery to appropriate areas.
• Maintains a clean, organized workspace. Data Security
• Make sure all loose hard drives and storage mediums are securely stored for data security.

Strictly adhere to the standard Sycamore data security policies. Work Environment This job operates in a warehouse production environment. This role requires standing for extended periods of time during the day. This role routinely requires the use of computers, Mac OS, Windows, the Microsoft Office suite, and a custom relational database used for asset tracking. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, lift up to 40 lbs. and walk around the facility to perform their basic job functions. Visual acuity to inspect products and perform minor repairs. Manual dexterity to inspect and repair products. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, operating from 9:00am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday, five days per week. Extended hours on site and off site may be required during busy periods. Required Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or GED 2. Experience in using computers personally or professionally Preferred Education and Experience 1. Associates degree or better in a related IT field. 2.
