Months Contract Pay Rate:
$28/hr. to $33/hr.
Required Skills:
4+ years of experience in an IT support or laboratory environment. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support. Experience with computer hardware installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Basic networking knowledge, including connectivity troubleshooting. Experience supporting instrument-controlled computers and laboratory IT systems. Knowledge of Windows security administration (user/group permissions, Group Policies, file and folder security). Experience with computer imaging, software deployment, and system upgrades. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and remote support tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent customer service and client-facing communication skills. Ability to work effectively with instrument vendors, laboratory personnel, and infrastructure teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects within defined timelines. Experience maintaining IT asset inventories and documentation. Familiarity with backup and recovery systems. Ability to work in laboratory environments while following safety and compliance requirements. Physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs and move between laboratories and buildings.
