Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and energetic IT Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert to install, maintain, and repair the computer systems, hardware, and peripherals to ensure smooth daily operations. Communication and documentation are essential for this position. This is a 100% on site position and requires the ability to lift and carry items up to 50lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

Act as the first point of contact for employees needing help with technical issues via phone, email, or in-person.

Setup & Installation:

Setup andConfigure new computers, laptops, printers, handheld devices

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and fix hardware or software faults, replacing broken parts when needed

Inventory Tracking:

Keep a log of IT equipment, hardware parts, and ordering replacements as required.

Maintenance:

Maintenance of printers , h andhelds, computers, etc. to ensure optimal functionality. This includes updating firmware/software to ensure all patches have been applied.

Documentation:

Writes guides, FAQ's, and setup steps

Off-Hours Maintenance:

Occasional off hours will be required to perform system upgrades, deployments, or other tasks to minimize user disruption.

Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (Switches/Access Points). Use of Powershell, SQL, VBA, and other languages is preferred.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to find the root cause of technical errors quickly.

Communication:

Patience and clear speaking skills to help non-technical users understand solutions.

Education/Certifications:

Degree in Computer Science٫ engineering or other relevant area. Certification as IT Technician٫ such as e.g. CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional٫ will be a bonus
