2nd Level Support Engineer

at Bystronic, Inc in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, United States Job Description Provide engineering solutions & support forcomplex technical issues to the local 1st level,Market Region & customers in all Bystronicproducts & Solutions. Handle communication forelectrical issues between local Bystronicorganization & relevant Competence Center.

Manage & cooperate with local Bystronic Serviceorganizations. Manage heavy technical taskstogether with local service team. Manage &execute a wide variety of support issues, whennecessary going on site to customers forescalation cases. Coordinate with the relevantCompetence Center interventions of specialistwhen required & collaborate with colleagues inthe same role worldwide. Participate in the rollout of World Class Services Projects. Improve & enhance Bystronic products with solutions.

Diagnose & adjust parameters of CNC/PLCsystems. Handle different technologies on aregular basis. Train & mentor Bystronictechnicians in technical & soft skills. Location isHoffman Estates but Remote possible in GreaterChicago
