Remote We are seeking an experienced Access Control Technical Lead to support Genetec initiatives, including enterprise infrastructure modernization, global deployments, site migrations, system integrations, and ongoing operational support. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across Genetec Security Center environments and related access control infrastructure. This role requires strong hands-on Genetec experience, a solid infrastructure background, and the ability to independently lead technical workstreams involving internal stakeholders, vendors, and system integrators. Key Responsibilities Lead and support enterprise Genetec access control deployments, upgrades, migrations, and implementation activities.

Configure, troubleshoot, and support Genetec Security Center components, including Directory Servers, Access Managers, Cloudlink appliances, Security Desk, and Config Tool.

Support infrastructure modernization efforts, future-state Genetec architecture initiatives, Access Manager migrations, Cloudlink deployments, system upgrades, and site transitions.

Support high-availability, failover, virtualization, networking, and enterprise application-hosting environments.

Partner with infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, identity management, site operations, and other technical teams.

Integrate physical security systems with Active Directory, Identity Management, HR systems, Visitor Management solutions, Alarm Monitoring platforms, and other third-party security technologies.

Lead technical workstreams involving external vendors and system integrators.

Coordinate multi-site deployments with local site personnel, vendors, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation plans, configuration records, migration plans, support procedures, and deployment templates.

Troubleshoot complex system, infrastructure, integration, and performance issues.

Support lifecycle management, system standardization, continuous improvement, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.

Provide clear status updates, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues when appropriate.

Support physical security systems in secure, regulated, and mission-critical environments. Required Qualifications 5-10 years of relevant work experience.

Hands-on experience with Genetec Security Center and enterprise access control systems.

Experience supporting Directory Servers, Access Managers, Cloudlink appliances, Security Desk, and Config Tool.

Experience with enterprise access control deployments, upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Clustering, and/or SQL Always On environments.

Understanding of high availability, failover, virtualization, networking, and enterprise application-hosting concepts.

Experience integrating physical security systems with enterprise platforms.

Experience supporting multi-site or global implementations.

Strong vendor, system integrator, stakeholder management, communication, and client service skills.

Strong documentation, lifecycle/SLC, implementation planning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent deployment, migration, upgrade, and support activities.

Strong sense of ownership, urgency, agency, and follow-through.

Ability to satisfy applicable security screening requirements and obtain necessary site access approvals. Preferred Qualifications Current Genetec certification.

Experience deploying access control and surveillance/CCTV systems.

Experience supporting large-scale migration, modernization, infrastructure transformation, and high-availability architectures.

Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Experience supporting mission-critical, highly secure, regulated, or global enterprise environments.

Experience with additional physical security technologies and third-party integrations.

Experience coordinating system integrators across multiple locations. Top Skills Advanced Genetec Security Center and enterprise access control experience.

Strong infrastructure expertise, including Windows Server, SQL Server, networking, virtualization, clustering, and high availability.

Experience leading multi-site deployments, migrations, upgrades, and system integration activities.

Ability to independently manage multiple technical workstreams with strong ownership, urgency, and follow-through.
