Full Time Duties:
1. Provide advanced level configuration services on multiple platforms in the test environment, and monitor software, hardware, or middleware updates, and package and test complex inhouse applications. 2. Work on complex systems with large numbers of interfaces and users. 3. Complete complex software builds and elevations, create directories and security groups, and recreate prior versions. 4. Participate in inspections, elevations, and related meetings to address configuration issues. 5. Maintain and administer source code archive databases. Write and maintain documentation, including policies and procedures, configuration templates, guides, and release notes. Review staff configuration management plans and tasks. 6. Review configuration management plans and complete complex client requests. Add, update, and complete IT problem management and change management database records. Research and resolve complex issues. Audit change management configuration records for future releases. 7. Work with management to implement quality assurance improvement plans and initiatives, concentrating on methodology and configuration management. 8. Create standard and ad hoc reports for IT project teams and managers. Measure and assess metrics, including accuracy, timeliness, errors, rescues, and availability code and documentation. Test and evaluate IT vendor products. 9. Train and mentor staff and write training materials. Resolve complex issues elevated from staff. 10. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. 11. May telecommute pursuant to company policies (hybrid role).
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or in an Application Engineering Environments Support Analyst, Specialist-related occupation.
