U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders Preferred About the Role Axiom Technologies is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer (Dispatch/Part-Time Role) based in Santa Rosa, CA, USA. This Dispatch/Part-Time independent contractor role involves providing on-site and remote support to end users while efficiently managing assignments and coordinating service requests. You'll serve as the go-to technical resource for desktop support, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues and smooth coordination among field technicians and internal teams.Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
- Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
- Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
- Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
- Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
