$58.57 /hour Overview This role involves supporting and developing complex application systems within a Medicare EDI environment. The candidate will analyze, design, and implement application tasks and projects, ensuring solutions align with business and IT strategies. The position requires collaboration with a highly experienced team to maintain and enhance existing systems and support new initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support existing EDI front-end and translator systems using
X.12 / 5010 EDI
standards Assist with implementing the new EDI front-end and translator Research and resolve customer issues related to file submissions and report retrieval Troubleshoot issues in multi-tier system environments using listed technologies Analyze, design, program, and implement complex applications and projects Review detailed specifications and recommend modifications Design, code, test, and debug complex application programs Produce deliverables related to assigned projects Evaluate interrelationships in programming areas to determine impact of changes Apply conversions and enhancements to business systems Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand requirements Ensure solutions are aligned with organizational standards Assist in post-implementation support and system enhancements Test modified programs, verify logic, debug, and document Design and develop IT systems, devising new data sources and approaches Provide guidance to lower-level programmers/analysts Act as an internal technical consultant on complex projects Test designed programs, verify logic, debug, and document Required Skills Unix command-line and shell scripting Troubleshooting and analyzing multi-tier distributed systems/applications C/C++ programming SQL / database integration (Oracle or open source) Microsoft Teams as primary communication tool Preferred Skills Python AI / automated testing API and authentication / LDAP AWS or cloud technologies Why Should I Apply?
