You will be tasked with traveling to different locations in your local area and assisting with solving IT Networking and Telecommunication issues. Performance Objectives Identifies, investigates, and resolves users' problems with computer software and hardware. Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding, connectivity, printing, and other IT Networking issues. Consults with users and clients to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem. Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and IT Networking procedures to solve problems. Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and equipment and/or following verbal instructions. Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems. Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products. Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends. Provide reliable and outstanding customer service when assisting clients with IT Issues Able to implement secure IT practices and protocols Installation and configuration of various IT Networking equipment and Network backbones Clearly and concisely document work performed, and steps taken after assisting clients with resolving their IT issues. Performs other related duties as assigned Key Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Professional and pleasant telephone manner Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software. Ability to stay organized and self-disciplined when working alone and with a team Reliable and punctual attendance Education and Experience Windows OS experience Apple IOS experience Knowledge of IT security practices Preferred 1 + years of Telecommunications experience Preferred 1 + years of IT Networking experience A+ certification or knowledge to acquire it within 3 months of hire Preferred Associates degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. At least 1 year of experience in customer technical support highly preferred. Experience with VOIP and Telephony is preferred
Physical Requirements:
