This is a work-from-home role with periodic travel to client sites to perform onsite technical work, including site surveys, new customer onboarding, and hardware swaps. The team is being built now to support a new healthcare account going live this fall. Our client is hiring at multiple levels — technicians early in their careers, and experienced technicians who can take escalations and mentor others. Responsibilities Provide technical support and on-site "remote hands" IT services to clients Travel to customer locations across Kansas to perform onsite IT work Assist with site surveys for network, Wi-Fi, and infrastructure Onboard new customers by setting up and validating required hardware Swap, replace, or upgrade PCs, laptops, and peripheral equipment Document work performed, including photos, notes, and inventory Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams Escalate up-level troubleshooting to the technical lead as needed, or take those escalations at a senior level Minimum Qualifications Understanding of the basics of IT support operations, including PC hardware and peripherals Ability to read and follow diagrams, floor plans, and deployment documentation Comfort working as part of a team in the field and submitting daily reports to the lead Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work on ladders when needed Preferred Skills Not required, will train — familiarity with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment Not required, will train — field service or project deployment experience Basic understanding of the role IT plays in an organization Detail-oriented and reliable with a customer-first mindset Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus For senior-level candidates: Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management, networking, server or virtualization experience, and a track record supporting multiple sites or clients.
