IT Specialist / Network Support Technician (Remote with Onsite Support as Needed)

As Needed Hourly/Contract About Us Sheppard Chiropractic is seeking a dependable and knowledgeable IT Specialist to support and maintain our Chiropractic office technology systems. We are looking for someone who can primarily provide remote support but is available for onsite assistance in the Cincinnati area when necessary. Responsibilities Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft-based systems and networks Maintain and support Dell servers and workstation environments Oversee backup systems, data protection, and recovery procedures Provide remote technical support for office staff and systems Perform onsite troubleshooting, setup, and maintenance when needed Monitor system performance, updates, and cybersecurity measures Assist with network configuration, user access, and hardware installation Coordinate with third-party vendors and software providers as needed Qualifications Experience with Microsoft operating systems and business environments Knowledge of Dell server hardware and server management Experience with backup systems and disaster recovery solutions Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Ability to work independently and respond promptly to issues Experience with remote desktop/support tools preferred Familiarity with healthcare or chiropractic office systems is a plus Preferred Experience with server maintenance and networking Understanding of HIPAA-compliant technology environments Availability for occasional onsite visits in the Eastside Cincinnati area Compensation Compensation based on experience and availability.
