Back IT Support IT Support Gainesville , Florida Temp Per Hour Aug 12, 2026 $25.00 - $35.00 The .Alexander Technology Group is seeking an IT Support resource for our Gainesville, FL based client. This is an onsite/hybrid role where you will gain valuable hands on experience providing tier 1 and tier 2 support for approximately 350 end users. Core Responsibilities Initial ticket triage, password resets, and account/access support Hands-on hardware: laptop builds, deployment, and on-site equipment servicing (printers, Zoom Rooms, peripherals) Advanced desktop and server troubleshooting across Windows and macOS Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration — user/account management, group policy, security settings Network support: VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN troubleshooting and basic configuration Ticket ownership from open through resolution, including documentation in the internal ticketing system Escalation point of contact for the on-site Gainesville office Coordinate new-hire equipment setup and onboarding configuration System security upkeep: patching, access controls, and monitoring for compliance with IT policies Root-cause troubleshooting on escalated issues, with clear documentation of resolution steps Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate repairs/replacements with vendors Contribute to internal support documentation and knowledge base articles Qualifications Proven troubleshooting across Windows and macOS (basic Linux familiarity a plus) Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration Comfortable supporting both standardized office hardware and varied remote/home setups Prior ticketing system experience required Familiarity with CAD technology a plus (not required) Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize effectively Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop) Strong communication skills — able to explain technical issues to non-technical staff Self-directed; comfortable being the on-site IT presence without daily in-person supervision Compensation 25-33/hr commensurate with experience If interested in this opportunity please send your resume to Michael Ferzoco at mferzoco@alexandertg.com #LI-MF1 Apply Now Share This Post
