Job Description

Our client, a leading higher education institution, is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be part of the IT department supporting student-facing systems and technical support services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

  • What's the Job?
  • + Provide Tier 2 technical support for student-facing systems, resolving escalated issues efficiently + Troubleshoot complex problems related to account access, application errors, and system functionality + Manage and respond to escalated tickets and email inquiries promptly + Collaborate with technical teams to document issues, validate fixes, and support software releases + Monitor service level agreements (SLAs), review support trends, and contribute to support center improvements •What's Needed?
  • + 2-4+ years of help desk or application support experience in a higher education or similar environment + Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills + Experience with ticketing systems and escalation management + Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally + Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish/English) are a major bonus
