EEO IT Support Technician Kier & Wright is looking for an IT Support Specialist with a background in server maintenance, hardware and software set-up/troubleshooting, and providing general workplace IT support. Occasional remote work and/or travel to additional locations is required. Responsibilities Responding to requests for technical support in a timely fashion. Diagnosing and troubleshooting environmental (server/hardware/operating system/software/printer/KIP plotter) issues. Analyzing, identifying and resolving technical issues related to plan and drawing production in AutoCAD Civil3D. Setting up workstations and laptops. Assisting with the development, maintenance and documentation of IT systems, processes and procedures. May assist network administrator with larger-scale software or hardware rollouts. Assisting in asset inventory. Supporting VPN users. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science highly preferred 1-3 years of general workplace IT experience in a position involving regular and routine support of desktops and laptops running Windows 7 or Windows 10. General PC hardware and software troubleshooting experience. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Windows server support experience. General networking knowledge (firewalls, routers, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Previous employment in a position involving routine AutoCAD set up, configuration and troubleshooting is strongly preferred. Microsoft Access programming experience is a plus. Why Kier + Wright? Pay:
