Program and related initiatives, NHDC provides housing stabilization services, financial assistance, community partnerships, and supportive services to individuals and families in need. Position Summary The IT Support Specialist provides day-to-day technical assistance across the organization. This role supports staff with troubleshooting, system access, and maintenance of digital tools, helping ensure smooth operation of email, collaboration platforms, and basic hardware/software systems in a nonprofit environment. Essential Functions Provide basic technical support, including email setup, password resets, and login troubleshooting Support Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other Office applications Assist with SharePoint and internal file management systems Troubleshoot basic software and hardware issues Support website updates and routine maintenance tasks Document common IT issues and maintain internal support guides Assist with organizing and improving IT systems and processes Research and recommend tools or solutions to improve efficiency Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of computer systems, software, and common operating systems Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or currently pursuing) Prior experience in IT support, help desk, or technical troubleshooting (work, school, or volunteer) Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and cloud-based tools Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPNs, connectivity issues) Experience with website platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar) Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Certificate) Work Environment Remote with occasional collaboration EEO Statement NHDC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.Pay:
