IT Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support across our organization, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Your expertise will help maintain a robust IT infrastructure, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and deliver exceptional service to end-users. Responsibilities Deliver prompt and effective technical support to users experiencing hardware, software, or network issues via help desk platforms such as High Level. Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across various operating systems including Windows, macOS. Manage computer hardware assets, perform upgrades, installations, and routine maintenance to optimize performance. Configure and maintain computer networks, including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), and firewall settings such or other network security tools. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments to ensure security and operational efficiency. Support mobile devices and operating systems to facilitate remote work capabilities for staff members. Proven experience providing technical support in a fast-paced environment with excellent customer service skills. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience managing computer networks including LAN/WAN setup, VPN configuration, DNS management, firewall setup, and TCP/IP protocols. Familiarity with operating systems such as Microsoft Windows (including Windows Server). Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications and remote support tools. Strong analysis skills to diagnose complex technical issues quickly and accurately. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users at all levels of the organization.
