Overview Join Quartz as a Senior Desktop Support Engineer and play a key role in shaping the future of workplace technology. In this role, you'll lead endpoint management initiatives, drive automation and modernization efforts, and serve as a technical expert for technologies including Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, and Horizon. Flexible Work Options - In-Person or Hybrid Participate in technology modernization projects and continuous improvement initiatives Opportunity to work with SCCM, Intune, and VDI technologies Ideal starting pay rate, based on skills and experience: $66,800 - $83,400 + robust total rewards package Responsibilities Administer and optimize endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Autopilot, and Horizon Lead desktop engineering initiatives, including device deployments, operating system upgrades, software packaging, and endpoint modernization projects Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex desktop, virtual desktop, and endpoint-related issues Manage endpoint security, patching, compliance, and software deployments across the enterprise Partner with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Networking, and business teams to implement technology solutions that enhance employee experience Develop automation, standards, and best practices that improve efficiency, reliability, and supportability Monitor endpoint performance and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement Mentor team members, share technical knowledge, and contribute to strategic IT initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 4 years in desktop support installing, configuring, and managing Windows-based systems and related technologies Associate's Degree and 7 years in desktop support installing, configuring, and managing Windows-based systems and related technologies High School Equivalency and 10 years in desktop support installing, configuring, and managing Windows-based systems and related technologies Advanced technical expertise in desktop engineering, endpoint management, and enterprise Windows environments Extensive experience administering Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Group Policy, endpoint security, and enterprise desktop architecture Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency Strong understanding of endpoint lifecycle management, software packaging, operating system deployment, and configuration management Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues using structured problem-solving methodologies Ability to mentor technical staff and influence technical decisions Flexible to work evenings and weekends as project and operational needs require Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
