MUST BE A CURRENT GRAYS HARBOR COLLEGE STUDENT TO APPLY
. Grays Harbor College is accepting applications for a Student Help Desk Tech - Information Technology. This is a part-time, non-permanent position and is not eligible for benefits. Hours will typically be Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm (up to 69 hours per month) but can be flexible. Position will be on campus with some work from home opportunities. This position reports to the Student Help Desk Manager. Grays Harbor is committed to providing excellent educational opportunities. Handling student technical support cases via Zoom, email and phone Provide solutions and advice on technical issues Recognize FERPA guidelines to keep PII confidential Maintain daily logs Perform tasks using problem solving and critical thinking skills
COMPETENCIES/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
Ability to convey friendliness, warmth and acceptance to all individuals. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with individuals and groups. Excellent written communication skills including spelling, grammar and punctuation. Familiar with Microsoft Office 365, ctcLink, Canvas and email. Ability to work independently. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
