Job Description

We are seeking an IT Specialist in Plant Maintenance and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for a long-term contract position in Blythewood, South Carolina. In this role, you will design, implement, and support SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) systems within an OEM automotive environment, working to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance while supporting an iconic brand in the electric vehicle marketplace. Perform regular health checks and troubleshooting for the SAP PM module running on an
SAP S/4HANA
Private Cloud client. Lead and support the implementation and enhancement of SAP PM processes. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, provide solutions, and create functional specifications. Configure SAP PM modules including equipment master, maintenance plans, notifications, orders, task lists, and work centers. Integrate SAP PM with other SAP modules such as MM, WM, EWM, FI, and CO. Monitor and recommend patches and upgrades to the SAP PM module as required. Provide production support, resolve issues, and implement improvements. Manage PM business users, authorizations, and profiles in collaboration with SAP Basis and Security teams. Provide key user training and support as needed. Document SAP processes and system changes. Collaborate with the SAP Application Management Services (AMS) and development teams to ensure optimal performance of the SAP PM module.
Qualifications Required:
At least eight years of SAP Plant Maintenance experience, including managing and supporting the SAP PM module. Strong understanding of PM business processes including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. Background in asset management and regulatory compliance within an automotive environment. Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and quickly resolve SAP system issues and errors. Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate system documentation and adhering to SAP system maintenance schedules. Ability to stay updated with the latest SAP updates, patches, and best practices. Ability to work efficiently and effectively with others in a dynamic greenfield environment. Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically, ensuring alignment between short-term tasks and long-term objectives.
Preferred:
A bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field, or at least ten years of IT enterprise application administration and deployment experience in lieu of degree. Full-cycle SAP PM implementation experience. Experience working in an OEM automotive assembly plant. Experience with SAP Fiori and mobile PM applications.
