Desktop/Laptop Fulltime Contract Technician at local school system ASM/McClung Companies Goose Creek, SC Job Details Full-time | Contract $20 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Personal electronics repair Parts administration Hardware maintenance Computer hardware Desktop (troubleshooting support) Full Job Description We need a contract technician to handle break fix on Dell laptops at local school system. This work will be paid by the hour, 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime. This position is full time throughout the year. We observe school holidays otherwise. There is no stated end to this project, it will be an ongoing engagement. We will pay for and provide Dell certification training, per the equipment serviced. Weekly work orders will be assigned for work order completion, paid week following service.
Summary:
On-site Warranty/break fix repairs of laptops. Hardware warranty part replacement. Software installation is out of scope for our service on hardware related activities, and is not required. Bios configuration, update will be the only non-hardware activity Call Managers will monitor your call activity and will be available to receive necessary process communication, and will communicate any vendor issues to you. Parts management will be the technician's responsibility. Parts Pickup and return will be done at the school Call closure will be done at work weeks end, through vendor system. Will be working with a team of technicians to support local school system.
