Job Description

IT Support Technician Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A., one of the Southeast's leading law firms founded more than seven decades ago in Greenville, South Carolina, is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician in our Greenville, South Carolina office. Serving all of the Carolinas, Gallivan, White & Boyd, handles complex business and commercial matters representing corporations, businesses, and individual clients in business disputes, arbitration, and defense litigation.   • Self-motivated and self-managed Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Windows 10, Windows 11 and Office 365 products
  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction
  • Monitor and respond efficiently and effectively to IT helpdesk requests
  • Monitor Service Desk for trouble tickets assigned to the queue, and process first-in-first-out based on priority
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees, i.e., account setups and training
  • Setup new employee workstation with computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment
  • Install, test and configure new employee workstation, peripheral equipment and software
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Cross-check and validate information
  • Willingness to participate in shared office duties and requirements Education/Experience
  • Two-year college degree in a related field with a preference of a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5 years of relevant technical experience
  • Previous Legal Office experience preferred The firm offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
