Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an IT Technician for a long-term temporary, full-time opportunity in Greenville, SC. This role is ideal for a hands-on desktop support professional with experience supporting Windows devices, asset management, system imaging, Active Directory, and end-user technology deployment. The IT Technician will support a professional government and public sector environment where accuracy, process compliance, teamwork, and customer service are essential. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced IT support teams, build practical technical skills, and contribute to important technology deployment and device management initiatives. Candidates who enjoy troubleshooting, following structured procedures, supporting end users, and working in a collaborative team environment will be well aligned with this opportunity. Key Responsibilities
  • Receive device packages, validate contents against packing slips and purchase orders, and document equipment using established asset management processes.
  • Label, track, configure, test, and deploy desktop devices through the full asset and configuration lifecycle.
  • Install devices into Active Directory and configure Windows operating systems, software, and related system settings.
  • Provide deskside installation and support for end-user devices in a networked environment.
  • Diagnose, isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and software issues in coordination with support teams and vendors.
  • Work with internal staff to identify process or technical issues and assist with creating effective resolutions. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay:
    $20.00 per hour.
  • Job Type:
    Long-term temporary, full-time contract.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Overtime:
    Some overtime may be needed.
