Job Description

We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support daily technology operations for a manufacturing environment in South Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving end-user issues, maintaining reliable desktop performance, and delivering responsive technical assistance. The person in this role will provide hands-on support for Microsoft Windows systems, user access needs, and service desk requests while helping keep workplace technology running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver front-line technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues reported by employees across the site.
  • Investigate and resolve Microsoft Windows 11 problems related to performance, access, software functionality, and general usability.
  • Manage incoming service desk requests, document work performed, and provide timely updates through the ticketing process.
  • Create, modify, and disable user accounts and permissions within Active Directory based on business needs.
  • Diagnose routine hardware and software issues and apply practical solutions to restore productivity quickly.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain end-user workstations to ensure consistent operation and compliance with support standards.
  • Escalate more complex incidents when necessary while coordinating with internal teams to drive issue resolution.
  • Assist with technical changes, deployments, or support activities tied to desktop environment updates when required.
