$20.00/hour Position Summary The IT Support Technician I provides basic technical troubleshooting and support for company computer systems, hardware, software, and applications. This role assists users with technical issues in person, over the phone, and remotely while providing excellent customer service and escalating more complex issues when needed. The ideal candidate has a strong customer service mindset, basic troubleshooting experience, and the ability to support end users in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, printers, and workstation issues. Troubleshoot service requests and incidents involving Microsoft applications, email, operating systems, and business applications. Assist with computer installations, equipment moves, software installs, and device setup. Support user account changes, hardware replacements, and asset management. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with technology documentation. Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues using established procedures. Escalate complex issues to senior-level technicians when necessary. Build positive relationships with employees and provide excellent customer service. Assist with IT projects, implementations, and office relocations as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of experience providing client device or desktop support. Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting processes. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Technical certification (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or related). Experience in IT customer service. Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. Experience supporting Epic or other EMR systems. Experience with break/fix support or computer technician responsibilities. Technical Skills Microsoft Office Suite troubleshooting. Basic Windows operating system support. Hardware and workstation troubleshooting. Software installation and configuration. Ability to document issues and resolutions.
