Provides customer support by phone, email, live chat or with screen sharing. May refer customers with complex system or application problems for more advanced technical support. Tracks help requests using a ticketing system.

ON CALL REQUIRED!
Once every 5 weeks.
  • Provide user support to associates on all company owned equipment and all company implemented Information Systems, performed daily.
  • Provide hardware troubleshooting services for all desktop PC's, laptop computers, Personal Digital Assistants, printers and other peripherals
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to customer base.
  • Provide maintenance services for hardware where required.
  • Provide data transfer, backup, and system installation for new computer equipment.
  • Provide productivity application software support to staff in the local and field offices. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
  • Facilitate technology training as needed to employees.
  • Assist with software installation and customization for end users.
  • Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate equipment service with outside vendors.
  • Due to extended Help Desk coverage hours, evening and weekend work will occasionally be required.

  • Limited travel may be required
  • Associates may be required to spend less than one-third of his or her time near moving mechanical parts.
