A Help Desk Technician or Analyst provides technical support to computer users. Handles customer inquiries and works to resolve technical issues with computer hardware, software or networks. Provides customer support by phone, email, live chat or with screen sharing. May refer customers with complex system or application problems for more advanced technical support. Tracks help requests using a ticketing system.

Job Description
ON CALL REQUIRED!
Once every 5 weeks.- Provide user support to associates on all company owned equipment and all company implemented Information Systems, performed daily.
- Provide hardware troubleshooting services for all desktop PC's, laptop computers, Personal Digital Assistants, printers and other peripherals
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to customer base.
- Provide maintenance services for hardware where required.
- Provide data transfer, backup, and system installation for new computer equipment.
- Provide productivity application software support to staff in the local and field offices. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
- Facilitate technology training as needed to employees.
- Assist with software installation and customization for end users.
- Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
- Coordinate equipment service with outside vendors.
- Due to extended Help Desk coverage hours, evening and weekend work will occasionally be required.

- While performing the essential duties of this job, the associate is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear.
- Hearing must be normal, with or without correction.
- Must be able to lift and/or move, push or pull 50 pounds or more.
- Vision must be normal with or without correction.
- The noise level encountered is generally moderate (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
- Limited travel may be required
- Associates may be required to spend less than one-third of his or her time near moving mechanical parts.
