Desktop Support Technician Global IT Family - 5.0 Nashville, TN Job Details Contract $29 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Teamwork User training (technical support) High school diploma or GED Driver's License Attention to detail Computer hardware Full Job Description We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented IT Deployment Team Member to support the delivery, installation, configuration, and deployment of laptops and other technology equipment across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with computer hardware, workstation setup, troubleshooting, and IT deployments. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Deliver, install, configure, and deploy computers and laptops. Prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment. Install and configure hardware, peripherals, and related equipment. Maintain accurate records of equipment, deployments, and asset status. Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and technical issues onsite or remotely. Communicate professionally with end users and team members. Follow established safety procedures and IT deployment best practices. Maintain organization and cleanliness of equipment and deployment storage areas. Travel to different work locations throughout Tennessee as required. Work collaboratively with the deployment team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in IT deployment, desktop support, hardware installation, computer repair, or a similar IT role preferred. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, laptops, peripherals, and workstation configuration. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as within a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Technical certifications are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds . Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move equipment for extended periods. Ability to perform hands-on computer and equipment installations. Work Environment Fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Primarily onsite work. Regular travel between multiple locations throughout Tennessee may be required. Travel expenses for approved business travel will be reimbursed according to applicable guidelines.
Pay:
