Position Summary:
The primary role of this position is to provide tier-one technology support in an elementary school. Additionally, the position supports library operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support for building technology including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, copiers, network connectivity, and audio-visual systems Distributes and collects student devices Coordinates with parents regarding damage, theft, lost or failure to return of devices Responds to building Helpdesk requests Inspects equipment to determine problems and potential solutions Completes basic repairs when possible and otherwise reroutes devices in need of repair to the appropriate person Assists with installation of new equipment and distribution or elimination of outdated equipment. Takes direction from the building Principal in the prioritization and completion of technology support tasks Assists in providing instructional support in areas related to instructional technology as needed, such as online state and district assessments and learning resources Assists with library circulation, including but not limited to check-out, check-in, shelving, and inventory of materials and technology equipment Supervision of students during lunch, recess, or pickup/drop-off for approximately one hour each day Additional duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:
Experience using and providing support for a wide variety of technology systems, including; laptops, tablets, mobile phones, e-mail, copiers, printers, desk phones, voicemail, productivity and instructional applications, macOS, iOS, Windows 11, etc. Experience providing support to users in-person, via telephone and via e-mail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple unrelated tasks simultaneously Customer service oriented Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs Ability to walk throughout a large building on a daily basis Ability to manage high stress situations in a calm and efficient manner
Education:
High school diploma
  • or•Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
