Job Description
What to Expect The Application Support Technician will provide essential support to the manufacturing floor, addressing various needs such as coordinating and delegating tasks, troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining printers, reviewing SOPs, processing data, and delivering tactical support for implementing changes. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively lead and motivate the team, fostering strong, positive relationships to build a cohesive and successful group. Please note that this position requires full-time onsite presence. What You'll Do Work with multiple departments in high pressure urgent need scenarios Resolve issues swiftly and accurately, ensuring tasks are completed and prioritized effectively Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to applications, software, and systems promptly to minimize downtime Manage a heavy workload with a positive attitude Perform repetitive detailed assignments and data processing tasks Act as the primary contact for incident management, coordinating the resolution of critical system issues Troubleshoot basic network, software, and hardware related problems using Thingfinder, PrintApp, ZCP, FDM, Ansible, Station Controller Maintain comprehensive documentation of issues, solutions, and user guides to streamline future support processes Prioritize and resolve multiple tasks efficiently in urgent scenarios using Jira and workbench What You'll Bring Ability to quickly master new software and functionalities Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, and printing issues Familiarity with configuring and printing using ZPL language on Zebra printers is a plus Ability to remain composed in high-pressure, urgent situations while managing competing demands Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft enterprise environments A degree or progress toward a degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering is a plus.
