This is accomplished by resolving software and hardware requests, and incidents utilizing established policies and procedures, and an analytical mindset. Minimum Qualifications Familiarity with computer hardware and software utilities. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Great written and verbal communications skills. Internship Computer and Information Sciences course or equivalent of 160 hours in desktop installation and support of hardware and software, installing, updating, diagnosing and resolving issues across multiple areas of technology including desktop workstations, network, audio/visual, and peripherals. Job Duties Job Duty Assist IT personnel with the installation and configuration of desktop workstation hardware, operating system and application software, network, and peripherals; Decommissioning PC workstations, network equipment, and peripherals. Job Duty Assist IT personnel with diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Job Duty Assist IT personnel with updating and patching of operating system and application software. Job Duty Assist IT personnel with event setup, configuration, and take down of PC workstations, audio visual equipment and peripherals. Job Duty Assist IT personnel with installation, repair, and termination of network cabling and fiber. Job Duty Assist IT personnel Installation of audio visual equipment and cabling.
