This role will drive the transition from a decentralized, legacy setup to a unified, secure, and high-performing infrastructure. The Senior IT Operations & Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for helping modernize Outova's IT environment across corporate offices, warehouses, and operating companies. This role will help transition the organization from a decentralized, legacy support model into a more unified, secure, and scalable IT operating environment. This position will own and improve core areas of IT operations, including end-user support, help desk escalation, warehouse IT operations, device lifecycle management, identity and access administration, network and systems access, and day-to-day support for critical infrastructure and business systems. A major focus of the role will be helping lead the company's transition from multiple Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments into a single, standardized Microsoft 365 platform. The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, technically strong, and capable of leading complex infrastructure and support initiatives through execution, influence, and operational ownership. This person should be comfortable working across both strategic modernization efforts and daily operational support, while partnering closely with leadership, vendors, and business stakeholders across all Outova companies.Key Responsibilities:
IT Operations Leadership Serve as a senior technical leader across IT operations for Outova and its affiliated companies. Help redesign and modernize the IT support model to improve service quality, responsiveness, standardization, and scalability. Establish and improve support processes, technical standards, escalation paths, documentation, and operating discipline. Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues impacting users, systems, locations, or operations. Partner with business and operational leaders to identify technology gaps and implement practical improvements. End-User Support & Help Desk Own the technical success of end-user support and help desk operations across the organization. Support and improve Tier 1 and Tier 2 service delivery for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, Microsoft applications, email, collaboration tools, and access-related issues. Improve ticket workflows, issue resolution practices, user communication, support documentation, and knowledge management. Drive a more proactive, service-oriented support experience for employees across all locations and companies. Ensure support issues are prioritized and resolved in a manner aligned with business impact Warehouse IT Operations Own IT support and operational readiness for warehouse and distribution environments. Support and maintain warehouse workstations, shared terminals, scanners, handheld devices, printers, wireless connectivity, shipping stations, and related operational technology. Partner with warehouse and operations leaders to improve reliability, responsiveness, and uptime for technology used in daily operations. Help standardize warehouse IT support practices, replacement processes, and local infrastructure expectations across sites Device Management & Deployment Own company-wide device lifecycle management across all Outova companies. Lead provisioning, imaging, configuration, deployment, inventory control, refresh planning, recovery, reassignment, and decommissioning of laptops, desktops, handhelds, mobile devices, and related hardware. Standardize device configurations and policies to improve supportability, security, and user experience. Lead device rollout efforts for new hires, acquisitions, site expansions, refresh programs, and location needs. Strengthen endpoint patching, monitoring, compliance, and support standards across the company. Infrastructure, Identity, Access & Core Systems Administer and improve core Microsoft and infrastructure systems, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, endpoint policies, user authentication, file access, and collaboration tools. Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, permissions, role-based access, group policies, and access governance across environments. Help oversee day-to-day support and stability for servers, endpoints, local site infrastructure, and foundational IT services. Manage network and systems access, including VPN connectivity, wireless access, authentication, permissions, and user connectivity needs. Ensure systems are documented, maintained, patched, secured, and aligned with business continuity requirements. Microsoft 365 Consolidation & Systems Standardization Help lead the company's transition from multiple Microsoft 365 tenants and Google Workspace environments into a single, unified Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Plan and execute migrations involving users, mailboxes, domains, files, permissions, identities, distribution groups, collaboration tools, and security settings. Support tenant consolidation, data migration, user transition planning, communications, cutover activities, and post-migration stabilization. Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and user-adoption risks associated with migration and standardization efforts. Help create a more supportable long-term environment by reducing fragmentation across productivity, collaboration, and identity platforms. Business Applications Support Provide senior technical support for business-critical applications and operational systems, including ERP, CRM, and other core platforms. Partner with business stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues, improve support models, and strengthen application reliability. Help ensure infrastructure, end-user computing, and business applications work together effectively in support of company operations. Support application rollouts, upgrades, access management, and user enablement as needed. Cybersecurity, Compliance & Operational Controls Strengthen IT operational security through sound access controls, endpoint standards, patching, MFA, user lifecycle controls, and practical enforcement of IT policies. Help improve asset visibility, documentation, access reviews, and operational controls that reduce risk and improve support readiness. Support security awareness and best practices across user environments and operational systems. Balance security requirements with usability and operational continuity. Projects, Vendors & Continuous Improvement Lead or heavily contribute to IT initiatives including infrastructure upgrades, device standardization, network improvements, support modernization, warehouse technology improvements, and collaboration platform migrations. Work with external vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Recommend and execute changes that reduce complexity, improve reliability, and create a more scalable IT foundation. Translate business needs into practical technical solutions and well-managed implementations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration, end-user support, or related technical roles. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Windows administration, Active Directory, and Entra ID. Proven experience managing or supporting end-user computing, help desk operations, devices, identity, and access in a multi-site environment. Demonstrated experience supporting both office and warehouse or distribution operations. Proven experience with device deployment, endpoint management, hardware lifecycle management, and support standardization. Experience managing permissions, authentication, role-based access, and core infrastructure services Proven experience helping lead or execute migrations from multiple Microsoft 365 tenants and Google Workspace environments into a single Microsoft 365 environment. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and execution skills. Ability to lead through technical depth, ownership, and influence rather than formal people management alonePreferred Qualifications:
Experience in a multi-company, acquisition-driven, or distributed operating environment. Experience with Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and related Microsoft cloud administration tools. Experience supporting warehouse IT technologies including scanners, printers, access points, handheld devices, and shared workstations. Experience supporting ERP and CRM platforms such as Sage and Salesforce. Familiarity with firewalls, VPN technologies, wireless networks, and vendor-managed network environments. Experience with scripting, automation, or administrative tooling such as PowerShell. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Azure, security, or endpoint-management certifications.Physical Activities:

Ability to perform typical office and IT support activities, including sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment.
