IT Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable IT Assistant to support day-to-day technology needs across our organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong foundational IT skills who is comfortable working hands-on with hardware, troubleshooting user issues, and exploring modern tools—including AI-assisted or "vibe coding" platforms—to build practical solutions that improve workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, configure, and deploy user workstations (desktops, laptops, peripherals) Install and troubleshoot printers, network devices, and related hardware Provide general IT support for users (hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues) Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, including account setup and permissions Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper asset tracking Work with modern low-code / AI-assisted development tools ("vibe coding" platforms) to create simple internal tools, automations, or workflow improvements Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process optimization through technology Research and implement solutions as needed, including learning new tools on the fly

Qualifications:

Solid understanding of general IT concepts (Windows OS, networking basics, hardware components) Experience setting up and troubleshooting PCs, printers, and common office technology Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Comfort learning new tools and technologies quickly Basic understanding of programming logic (variables, conditionals, loops, data flow) is highly preferred Familiarity with any scripting or programming language is a plus, but not required Strong communication skills and ability to assist non-technical users

Pay:

From $24.00 per hour
