Job Description
Community Health Center of South Central Texas, Inc. (CHCSCT, Inc.), a FQHC, is currently seeking a Help Desk (Systems) Support for our Administration Center location. This position requires travel. The HDS performs routine systems support work providing Center staff support for agency information technology systems. Work involves operating automated office equipment in either a stand-alone, network, or mainframe environment; and providing training to agency staff in the implementation and use of automated systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Experience troubleshooting Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical issues across laptops, mobile devices, software, VPNs, printers, and network connections. Uses several different software package applications which perform numerous computations, arithmetic, and logic operations to arrange, sort, or manipulate data; maintains the necessary security controls over the software; and troubleshoots and solves technical problems. Monitors and provides assistance to staff in the use of software applications; Manages and updates the clinic's website. Provides training and operational assistance to agency staff in the implementation and utilization of data processing software; trains staff on the capabilities and limitations of the available software. Installs, maintains, and repairs computer hardware, software, and peripherals; and assists in the management of local area networks; Performs a variety of trouble shooting tasks on equipment such as computer and related equipment, hand tools, typewriter, calculator, copier, fax machine, telephone, and time clocks; Will abide by all CHCSCT, Inc. confidentiality policies and security measures to secure (EPHI) Electronic Protected Health Information including information sensitive in nature as delineated by HIPAA regulations.
