You will troubleshoot software and hardware issues, assist with network connectivity, and help maintain our IT infrastructure to keep everything running smoothly. Duties Provide technical support to end-users via help desk platforms, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Manage computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance. Assist with computer management tasks like software installations, updates, and configuration using tools such as SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and GPO (Group Policy Objects). Support network administration activities including DNS configuration, TCP/IP troubleshooting, LAN setup, VPN access, firewall management, and Meraki network devices. Help maintain IT infrastructure by supporting Active Directory accounts, managing user permissions, and assisting with server administration on Windows Server environments. Utilize ticketing systems like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy to document issues and track resolution progress effectively. Collaborate with team members on projects involving network upgrades, security enhancements, and system deployments. Communicate clearly with users to provide excellent customer service while explaining technical solutions in an understandable manner. Experience Previous experience in a help desk or desktop support role is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential. Familiarity with troubleshooting software issues on Windows and macOS operating systems. Basic understanding of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, LAN/WAN configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices. Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals along with experience managing mobile devices. Exposure to IT support tools including SCCM, Active Directory, GPOs, Microsoft Office Suite applications, Microsoft Windows Server environments, and Linux distributions is advantageous. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing technical problems quickly and accurately.
