Job Description

Ideal Partners Staffing is seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist for a growing organization in Irving, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term career potential for an individual who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users, and working in a fast-paced IT environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional support to both onsite and remote users. Key Responsibilities Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, and peripheral issues Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords through Active Directory Document support requests, resolutions, and asset information within the ticketing system Set up and deploy new workstations, hardware, and software for employees Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users and equipment Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel when necessary Maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment Provide excellent customer service while communicating technical information to non-technical users Qualifications 2+ years of IT support, help desk, or desktop support experience preferred Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and password resets Familiarity with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications Experience supporting cloud-based environments and hybrid workforces
Pay:
$26.72 - $32.18 per hour
