Job Description

Position Summary:
The Engineering Technical Coordinator provides administrative and technical support to construction, engineering, and project management teams. This position is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of job books, invoice and expense submittals, fleet management administration, and project cost analysis support. The role requires a high degree of computer proficiency, organizational ability, and accuracy in order to ensure compliance with company standards and timely execution of project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, compile, and maintain project job books in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Process invoice system submittals, ensuring correct coding, routing, and timely approvals. Submit and reconcile expenses through company expense systems with attention to detail and compliance. Support fleet management activities including vehicle assignment, tracking, and maintenance recordkeeping. Assist with project cost tracking and analysis by maintaining spreadsheets and generating variance reports. Provide general administrative support for construction and engineering teams, including scheduling, document control, and reporting. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure documentation and approvals are completed. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support construction and engineering operations.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent experience. Associate degree in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered. 0 - 2 years of administrative or technical support experience in an engineering, construction, or industrial setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); ERP/invoice system experience preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with project cost tracking and analysis is a plus.
Competencies:
Excellent computer and systems proficiency. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
