IT Technician The Kent Companies - 3.0 Midland, TX Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Windows Full Job Description This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Midland, TX but will periodically require travel to remote locations for troubleshooting or equipment repair. Primary responsibilities can include but are not limited to: Provide troubleshooting, problem solving and on-site technical support for all levels of users Provide technical support for all hardware/software computer deployments and related issues Analyze, test, implement and support the roll-outs of new client equipment such as PCs, laptops, and tablets Analyze, troubleshoot, and support all aspects of the client infrastructure, including PC hardware, software installs, and networking Provide client level support for all IT deployments and projects Perform other duties as assigned by management Develop solutions for simple to complex user issues (hardware and/or software). Create technical process and procedure documentation, as well as end-user documentation. Evaluate new client technologies, including testing of new models of end point devices as they are added to the environment Performs other duties as assigned. Associates degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent work experience Ability to troubleshoot issues and come to a resolution Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS Must be proficient with Windows operating system Ability to research computer related issues to resolve hardware and software problems May be required to work more than 40 hours during the workweek. Flexibility in assigned working hours and ability to travel.
