Our customers are gamers, PC builders and people who know when they're being BS'd. We need someone at the counter who actually knows tech. You're the first person every customer talks to. You'll diagnose over the phone, explain what's wrong in plain English, and recommend what they actually need: the repaste, the SSD upgrade, the better GPU for their budget. If you've built your own PC, opened up a console, or spent hours arguing about thermal paste, keep reading. What you'll do Answer calls, texts and messages; ask the right questions to figure out what's wrong before the device is even in the shop Check devices in and out, and explain the diagnosis, the fix and the timeline like a tech, not a script Recommend upgrades and add-ons that make sense: cleanings, repastes, SSD and RAM upgrades, custom builds Follow up on quotes until every customer has a clear yes or no Keep every ticket current in RepairDesk, our shop software Learn repairs on the bench when the counter is quiet, if you want to grow into a technician What we're looking for You know PC hardware and gaming consoles. You've built, upgraded or fixed your own stuff You can explain tech to a gamer and to a grandparent, and adjust to each Comfortable on the phone and comfortable recommending things; you never push what someone doesn't need Organized and reliable: you finish what you start without being reminded

Bonus:

repair experience, retail tech sales (Micro Center, Best Buy, GameStop), or a second language Pay and schedule $9-$20/hr based on what you know, plus additional $ for every add-on service and for every custom PC build you sell 15-25 hours a week, including Saturdays 30-day trial, raise review at 90 days, and a path to bench technician

$9.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 40.0 per week
