Job Description
Overview The IT Acquisition Integration Specialist is responsible for leading the technology‑focused integration of newly acquired companies, platforms, and digital assets. This role ensures that infrastructure, applications, data, and security frameworks are seamlessly aligned with enterprise standards. The specialist partners closely with cross‑functional teams to minimize disruption, maintain business continuity, and accelerate value realization from M&A activity. Key Responsibilities Technology Assessment & Planning Conduct pre‑close IT due diligence to evaluate infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity posture, data environments, and technical debt. Identify integration risks, gaps, and dependencies across networks, systems, and cloud environments. Develop comprehensive IT integration roadmaps, including timelines, resource needs, and transition milestones. Systems & Infrastructure Integration Lead the consolidation or migration of systems such as Active Directory, identity and access management (IAM), email platforms, ERP/CRM systems, and collaboration tools. Coordinate network integration activities, including connectivity, VPN consolidation, firewall alignment, and domain transitions. Support cloud migration efforts (Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments) to align with enterprise architecture standards. Cybersecurity & Compliance Partner with security teams to assess vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Oversee onboarding of the acquired organization into enterprise security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, MFA, DLP, etc.). Ensure data governance, privacy, and retention policies are consistently applied across integrated environments. Data Integration & Migration Support data mapping, cleansing, and migration activities across databases, applications, and analytics platforms. Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure secure and accurate transfer of structured and unstructured data. Validate data integrity and resolve issues related to compatibility, formatting, or system constraints. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Serve as the primary IT liaison between internal teams and the acquired organization. Facilitate technical workstream meetings, track progress, and escalate risks or blockers. Work closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and Legal to ensure technology alignment with broader integration goals. Change Management & User Enablement Support adoption of new tools, processes, and security practices across the acquired workforce. Anticipate user experience challenges and coordinate solutions to minimize disruption. Performance Tracking & Reporting Monitor integration KPIs such as system cutover readiness, migration success rates, and security compliance. Prepare executive‑level dashboards and reports summarizing progress, risks, and outcomes. Conduct post‑integration reviews to refine IT integration playbooks and best practices. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in IT integration, IT project management, Data Center Integrations, or enterprise systems administration. Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud platforms (O365, Entra, SharePoint, tech), networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications. Experience with system migrations, identity management, and data integration. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience in high‑growth or multi‑acquisition environments. Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, Azure/AWS certifications, or Prosci Change Management. Key Competencies Technical problem‑solving and analytical thinking Ability to translate complex IT concepts for non‑technical stakeholders Strong organizational and project management skills Adaptability in fast‑changing environments Collaborative, relationship‑driven approach Travel Required travel of 60% or more.
