We are seeking a highly technical Senior Application Support Analyst to support a broad portfolio of oil & gas enterprise applications, infrastructure platforms, and integration services. This role is focused on backend application support, system optimization, infrastructure coordination, upgrades, integrations, troubleshooting, and operational reliability across critical business systems supporting midstream and upstream operations. The current support organization consists of a lean team supporting hundreds of enterprise applications, offering candidates the opportunity to work across a diverse technical landscape with significant upcoming initiatives, including major application upgrades, SaaS/cloud migrations, GIS and FlowCal enhancements, Quorum upgrades, and EMK3 modernization efforts. The position requires strong SQL scripting and data analysis capabilities, including the ability to write queries, analyze data gaps, troubleshoot backend processes, and support reporting and integrations. Experience with APIs, system interfaces, and enterprise integrations is highly valued. Candidates should be comfortable working in hybrid technical environments and participating in occasional after-hours support for critical production systems.Key responsibilities include:
Provide functional and technical application support, perform root cause analysis and remediation for system and data issues, support system upgrades and patching activities, assist with server migrations and cloud/SaaS transition initiatives, troubleshoot integrations and interfaces, support infrastructure and application performance, and participate in environment cleanup and optimization efforts. The role will also support ongoing application rationalization initiatives and transitions from third-party managed services to internal support teams. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT, infrastructure, operations, and business teams to support a wide range of applications including MyQuorum, PI Data Historian, GIS platforms, FlowCal, EMK3, land management systems, analytics applications, and other third-party operational tools. Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, support procedures, and user training materials; enforce technical standards and data governance policies; and manage small to mid-sized technical projects while tracking milestones and communicating status updates to stakeholders. Required Qualifications At least 6-8 years of experience along with strong technical application support experience within the oil & gas industry Solid understanding of oil & gas operational terminology and workflows Advanced SQL querying and scripting experience Experience supporting enterprise applications, integrations, and backend processes Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Experience supporting upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure-related initiatives Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational support environment Strong communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Midstream oil & gas experience Experience with PI/OSIsoft, GIS platforms, land systems, FlowCal, EMK3, MyQuorum, or similar industry applications API and enterprise integration experience Cloud/SaaS migration support experience Experience supporting server performance and environment optimization initiatives Exposure to application rationalization or managed-services transition projects About INSPYR Solutions Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
