ELB delivers highly skilled personnel and scalable solutions that ensure system readiness, operational compliance, and mission success across global environments. Position Overview E.L. Blake Corporation is seeking a Technical Operations Lead (SME) to support U.S. Air Force mission planning operations at Hill AFB, Utah. This position serves as the program's primary technical resource for mission planning systems and provides oversight and guidance to geographically dispersed System Support Representatives (SSRs) supporting operational missions worldwide. The selected candidate will support software deployments, modernization efforts, technical issue resolution, and operational standardization across the program. This role serves as a key liaison between field personnel, government customers, and program leadership to ensure technical accuracy, mission readiness, and successful contract execution. Key Responsibilities Provide technical oversight and guidance for mission planning systems, fielding activities, software deployments, modernization efforts, and sustainment activities. Serve as the primary technical liaison between System Support Representatives (SSRs), government customers, and program leadership to ensure mission alignment and operational continuity Oversee the identification, tracking, escalation, and resolution of technical issues impacting mission planning operations Ensure technical consistency, standardization, and operational compliance across geographically dispersed support locations Support contract performance, cybersecurity compliance, reporting requirements, and continuous process improvement initiatives Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship (required) Active Secret Security Clearance (required) CompTIA Security+ Certification (required within 6 months of hire) Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or 4 years of relevant IT experience Experience supporting DoD, mission planning, or mission-critical IT environments Demonstrated leadership, technical oversight, and problem-solving experience Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting U.S. Air Force mission planning systems or applications Experience leading or coordinating geographically dispersed technical teams Working knowledge of DoD IT infrastructure, cybersecurity requirements, and operational support environments Compensation & Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Responsible Time Off (RTO) - flexible time off policy 40 hours of paid sick leave annually Paid holidays Company-paid basic life insurance
