Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on IT Specialist to support both office and manufacturing environments. This role is responsible for providing responsive end-user support, maintaining computer and network infrastructure, and ensuring reliable IT operations across the facility. The ideal candidate is a self-driven problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, industrial setting. This position operates with a high level of autonomy under a macro-management style, where accountability and service levels are critical.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnd User SupportProvide exceptional in-person and remote support to end usersTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network issuesServe as the primary point of contact for IT-related service requestsMaintain high service levels and timely issue resolutionHardware & Systems ManagementProcure, install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktop and laptop computersInstall and maintain printers and peripheral devicesInstall and support network hardware including switchesPerform routine maintenance and lifecycle management of IT equipmentMaintain inventory and tracking of IT assetsNetwork & Infrastructure SupportDiagnose and resolve network connectivity issues across the facilityMonitor network performance, availability, and securityAssist with basic switch configuration and network troubleshootingMicrosoft Environment AdministrationManage users, devices, and access in Active DirectorySupport Microsoft 365 applications and servicesManage software licensing and ensure compliance Security & SystemsSupport facility security systems including surveillance and access controlFollow and help enforce cybersecurity best practicesProject & Vendor CoordinationCoordinate and direct third-party vendors and contractors on IT-related projectsSupport system upgrades, rollouts, and improvement initiativesDocumentation & ProcessDocument systems, configurations, and troubleshooting proceduresMaintain accurate records of incidents, changes, and IT assetsContribute to process improvement and standardization

Work Environment:
Heavy Industrial Setting will occasionally work around molten metal in a loud environment.
Physical Demands:
Standing, bending, squatting, sitting, work that may involving lifting up to 50 lbs.
Position type and expected outs of work: Full-time hours, work schedule is 8:00 AM
- 5:00 PM, additional hours as needed and schedule subject to change.
Travel:
Some travel may be required.
QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in an IT support, help desk, or IT specialist roleStrong troubleshooting skills with Windows operating systems, hardware, and peripheralsBasic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, switches, connectivity)Preferred Skills & ExperienceExperience supporting IT in a manufacturing or industrial environmentFamiliarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365Experience supporting network infrastructure and IT security systemsExperience with IT ticketing systems and service management practicesAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
