We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Technician to join our technology support team. In this role, you will be the frontline problem solver for technical issues, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems across the organization. Your expertise will help maintain a robust IT infrastructure, deliver exceptional customer service, and support the technological needs of our staff and operations. Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux Manage computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals Configure and maintain computer networks including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), and firewall settings Support Active Directory management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments, and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for efficient system deployment and updates Assist with network administration tasks using tools like Meraki for wireless management and BMC Remedy or ServiceNow for ticketing and incident tracking Conduct regular maintenance of IT infrastructure components including switches, routers, servers, and firewalls to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with teams on software troubleshooting using Jira or ServiceNow platforms to track issues and implement solutions Support the deployment and management of security measures such as antivirus programs, firewall rules, and VPN configurations to safeguard organizational data Experience Proven experience in providing IT support within a fast-paced environment with a focus on desktop support and help desk functions Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), macOS, and Linux distributions Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, LAN/WAN setup, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices Familiarity with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair processes Experience managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure using tools like SCCM for software deployment and GPO for policy enforcement Knowledge of Active Directory administration for user account management and permissions control Ability to analyze technical issues quickly using analysis skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco CCNA are preferred but not mandatory Join us in delivering outstanding IT solutions that empower our organization!
