https://matterport.com/ This position is Monday-Friday at our Richmond, VA office. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair 3D models, including corrupt files, misaligned scans, and faulty geometry Perform stitching and assembly of multiple 3D scans into unified models Analyze and assess model quality to identify root causes of issues and determine appropriate fixes Utilize command-line tools, terminal environments, and scripting to diagnose and resolve technical problems Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated model issues impacting customers Assess and respond to customer issues related to 3D models, add-on features, subscriptions, and services Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not for profit, in-person university or college 3+ years of experience in 3D modeling, 3D graphics, or technical 3D environments Hands-on experience with tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max Basic to intermediate proficiency with: Terminal / command-line interfaces Scripting or technical debugging workflows Strong ability to analyze, diagnose, and repair 3D models Proven problem-solving skills in complex, evolving technical scenarios High attention to detail, particularly with complex geometry and spatial data issues Strong written and verbal communication skills A track record of commitment to prior employers Preferred Qualifications And Skills Experience in industries such as gaming, VFX, simulation, architecture, or 3D visualization Background in model cleanup, scene assembly, or multi-model stitching workflows Familiarity with proprietary or non-GUI-based tools and systems Experience working in technical support or post-production environments Exposure to tools like Salesforce or similar ticketing/workflow systems What's in it for You When you join CoStar Group, you'll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.
