In-Store & Mobile Smart Phone Computer Repair Technician

We help people do more with their technology and stay connected on all of their devices. We provide our customers with simple, helpful advice to get the most from their technology, assistance to fix any technology issues they have, and protection of their devices to ensure they quickly get a replacement or repair if anything does go wrong.

POSITION DETAILS

We are hiring for two positions, but you may be qualified and interested in working both! If you are then you could easily be getting 40 hours a week. In-Store Electronics Repair Technician The In-Store Electronics Repair Technician will be responsible for our most complex repairs including game console, laptop and desktop computer, and other electronics repairs. You will also be responsible for helping the other technicians complete routine cell phone and tablet repairs. You will use a friendly, professional demeanor to build customer confidence and exceed expectations by making the store experience natural, engaging and reassuring, all with a sales attentive mindset. The In-Store Electronics Repair Technician will also be responsible for back of house duties such as diagnostics, repairs, answering phone calls, maintaining a clean and organized work space, etc. Mobile Electronics Repair Technician As a Mobile Electronics Repair Technician , you will fix and repair Apple, Samsung, and Google cell phones in a mobile work environment. Your office will be a glorious uBreakiFix Remote Tech Ford ProMaster 1500 van! We're looking for someone who understands technology and is adaptive to the developing tech world as well as sales and customer service. If you are tech-savvy, enjoy working alone and possess great customer service and sales skills, we would like to hear from you! You will serve customers by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mobile phones at client's home or work while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will travel to customer homes or places of business in a company-provided vehicle and complete repairs in the repair van at the customer's site.

Pay:

$15.00 - $25.00 per hour including commission and bonus, when you work in the van you earn an extra $2 per hour

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service Create meaningful relationships and experiences with your customers Provide customers with the best solution for their needs Upsell services and accessories that meet the customer's needs Sell Asurion Tech Care (our device protection plan) Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair devices Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock Utilize the point of sale and work order maintenance system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair Safely travel to customer sites and arrive within the scheduled appointment window Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store or van Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening to include marijuana, a criminal background check, and driving record check.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience repairing game consoles, laptop and desktop computer, tablets, and other electronic devices Outstanding customer service skills Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills Exceptional organizational skills Strong written and oral communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Work well in team environment Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays High school diploma or

GED PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CompTIA A+ Certification Wise Certification

• Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics Previous experience working at retail electronics repair store
